The Sonatest range of handheld
Thickness and Coating Gauges range from the low-cost easy

A and B-scan units. The core range embodied in the T-Gage
IV series demonstrate very well the ease of use of the Sonatest
range and show the rugged extruded aluminium casing ensuring
performance in the toughest of industrial environments.
We also offer various application specific options, via
specific software and transducers, such as plastic measurement,

CT-Gage
The CT Gage has been designed
as a multi- purpose ultrasonic material
and coating thickness instrument
with a wide range of features. The
CT-Gage is able to simultaneously
and independently measure the material
and the coating thickness, or switch
to the time based B-Scan view to
see a cross section view of the
material you are inspecting.

Sonacoat II-FN
The Sonacoat II-FN can be used for
all non-ferrous coatings of varnish,
paint, enamel, chrome, copper, zinc
etc on steel and iron. Upto 10 000
readings can be statistically evaluated:
number of readings, mean value,
standard deviation, minimum and
maximum reading. The innovative
transducer construction ensures
non destructive measurement of the
most highly polished surfaces and
soft coatings. Sensor contact pressure
is uniform and kept to a minimum,
so surfaces remain free from scratches
and indentations.

Sonacoat P
The Sonacoat P provides fast,
non-destructive, accurate coating
measurements on steel and non-ferrous
metals. It is not only paintwork
thickness and other coatings you
can measure. You can also obtain
valuable information concerning
the coating structure, such as paint
top coats or body fillers. When
measured thickness value clearly
exceeds the standard paintwork thickness,
this would indicate the use of filler
material for repair work or repainting.

varnish, paint and electroplated
